Terms of service

These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through the Mayflower Descendants Museum Shop, operated by Mayflower Descendants Museum LLC ("MDM," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing the Shop, creating a customer account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Products and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display products offered through the Museum Shop. Colors, finishes, dimensions, placement of artwork, and other product details may vary slightly from photographs or screen displays.

Many Museum Shop products are produced after an order is placed and may be fulfilled by third-party production and shipping partners. Products may be changed, discontinued, or become unavailable without notice.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other costs will be shown during checkout when applicable.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or product-description errors and to cancel or refund an order affected by a material error.

Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee that every item will remain available. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, pricing errors, product unavailability, or misuse of the Shop.

Production, Shipping, and Delivery

Orders are subject to the Museum Shop Shipping Policy. Many products are made to order, and fulfillment and delivery times vary by product and fulfillment partner.

Orders containing multiple products may be produced by different vendors and may arrive in separate shipments.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns, exchanges, damaged items, and refunds are governed by the Museum Shop Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Member Discounts and Promotional Codes

Membership discounts, promotional codes, and other offers are subject to any eligibility requirements or restrictions stated with the offer.

Club 1620 household benefits may only be used by eligible members and members of their household. Discount codes have no cash value, may not be resold, and may be withdrawn or changed in cases of misuse.

Intellectual Property

Museum Shop designs, logos, branding, product graphics, photographs, written descriptions, and other original Shop content created by or for Mayflower Descendants Museum LLC may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.

The inclusion of historic artwork or other public-domain material in a Museum Shop product does not grant permission to reproduce the Museum’s original product design, layout, branding, or other original creative elements.

Third-Party Services

The Museum Shop uses third-party services for functions such as e-commerce, payment processing, production, fulfillment, and shipping. Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mayflower Descendants Museum LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Shop or purchase of its products.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes become effective when the revised Terms are posted, unless otherwise stated.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
